The Boots I had to have! - Vintage Womens Clothing Blog

Ok, put your hand up if you are a woman that loves shoes!

I see the millions of hands in front of me and that's why I want to share my amazing clothing online shopping experience with you.

I had been on holidays to Sydney and this pair of boots caught my eye in a shop window. I looked at the shop and realised it was "Gary Castles". Out of my price range, but I still had to go in, and even if it was just to feel them, smell them or try them on, I would be more than happy!

There it was....just one single boot on the shelf in a gorgeous chocolate brown colour, vintage style with a little buckle and the leather was to die for! When I checked the price......that also was to die for! Somehow I could not justify $650 for a pair of leather boots (and secondly, if my husband found out, I knew the divorce papers would be in the mail!).

Well the holiday came to an end and I went home without the Gary Castles boots. That night I was online and just having a general surf on the net, when it occurred to me that these boots, or even something similar, could be online. I have often in the past found many vintage womens clothing items online. Well what do you know? I am now the proud owner of those exact Gary Castles boots for a mere $200! So with some of the change I also bought myself a beautiful vintage look brown belt to match.

I think all I need now to complete the set is a cute little vintage womens clothing handbag. Which brings me to my next point..........i have to finish this article, as I've got business to do!
